The Department of Industrial Chemistry assists students in aquiring basic knowledge related to industrial chemistry after first learning the basic concepts of chemistry and physics. We also nurture intellectuals to gain the creativity and leadership that could be combined to undertake the research and development of technology of this field through various applied subjects, experiments and practices.
We seek to make it easier for student to enter related fields after graduation through on-site experience with paint and varnish-related companies. We also help students to apply their abilities more effectively in related fields in order to gain employment in related companies, research centers and educational facilities, such as the automobile industry, shipbuilding, electronics, heavy industry field, the production of paint and plastic, the polymer industry, fine chemistry, organic/non-organic industrial chemistry and semi-conductor engineering.

Types of Certified Licenses
Paint superintendents, chemical engineers, chemical industrial engineers, industrial safety engineers, surface treatment industrial engineers, chemical producers, chemical production engineers, chemical analysts, hazardous industrial engineers
Possible Careers After Graduation
Petrochemical industry, paint, shipbuilding and heavy industry, material, fine chemistry, nano-technology, functional material
