Department of Materials Science and Engineering provides a broad range of exciting opportunities for the student who likes to innovate and who wants to apply knowledge to the real problems of a modern technological society. Progress in modern technology is often limited by the availability of suitable solid materials. The field of Materials Science and Engineering focuses on the development of new materials for the next generation of engineering applications. It views metals, ceramics, polymers, electronic materials, nanomaterials and composites from a microstructure as well as the properties, processing and performance of the material. The program is designed to produce engineers and scientists whose degrees represent useful specialization coupled with a broad background in all classes of materials.
Types of Certified Licenses
