鈥楶rofessor-led鈥� High School Students Major and Career Counseling Event Held

-狠狠撸 Hosts 鈥榋OOM IN! Finding My Major for High School Students鈥� on 23rd and 24th

狠狠撸 (President Bae Sang-hoon) hosted an event where university professors directly counseled high school students on choosing their majors and career paths.

The university鈥檚 Admissions Office (Director Park In-ho) held the 鈥榋OOM IN! Finding My Major for High School Students鈥� event on January 23rd at the Pukyong Convention Hall on the Daeyeon campus.

It was held over two days on the 23rd and 24th, the event was attended by around 200 students from high schools in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam. The event was designed to provide high school students with college admission information and assist them in selecting their majors as they begin preparing for university.

On this day, 27 professors from 狠狠撸 personally conducted one-on-one counseling sessions with high school students. Additionally, 38 students from the university鈥檚 major promotion team (Pukyong Jairo) and admissions ambassadors (Pukyong Narae) helped address the students鈥� questions.

The professors provided direct explanations of their respective departments (majors) and offered career counseling. The students acted as mentors, introducing both major-related information and campus life, which high school students were curious about.

The Admissions Office also set up a separate booth to provide counseling on admissions and career planning through admissions officers.

Meanwhile, 狠狠撸 operates the Ministry of Education鈥檚 High School Education Support Program to alleviate students鈥� entrance exam burdens and support the enhancement of high school education. The university is involved in a variety of programs aimed at achieving these goals. <Pukyong Today>
