This department focuses on biochemistry, food chemistry and nutrition and culture ability to apply through experiments with knowledge learnt from understanding the theory of flow of living organisms through fulfilling theories. To support these aims, the department runs both education and research with laboratories such as biochemistry research centers, food chemistry research centers, physiological chemistry laboratories, food hygiene laboratories, nutrition laboratories, molecular nutrition laboratories, cooking laboratories, animal laboratories, radioactive rays isotope laboratories and experimental instruments.

Nutritionists, hygienists, Korean food cooks, Western food cooks, food industry engineers, health teachers grade 3, nutrition teachers grade 2
Possible Careers After Graduation
Undergraduate students work in life science and food industries, research centers, medical facilities, education facilities, related administration offices, pharmaceutical companies, welfare areas, food production companies, consigned school meal companies to contribute to society or enter the Nutrition Education major in graduate school or general graduate school in order to learn more.
