Our aim is to educate students to have the creativity to move towards a world of diversity by learning the basics of physics, and we accordingly nurture professionals who are appropriate for each field of physics through creative research activities and acquiring a professional knowledge of physics in graduate school with masters and doctors degrees. We also educate natural science and engineering students in basic physics.

DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICS AIM AND GOAL

We have to understand questions like ’Why do the stars shine?’, ’Why is the sky blue?’ ’Why do things drop downwards?’ through physics. The development of physics is based on modern civilization and the foundation of semiconductors, development lasers, understanding the nuclear world, and the completion of electronics, all of which have life, created today’s informational society. Our lives in the future will also be affected by the ongoing development of physics.

Our undergraduate course has been formed in conjunction with a study of applied physics to learn about the various changes of the physical world, and practical physics to measure and explain natural occurrences and theoretical studies to help to understand the world of physics. It leads to the acquisition of a wide knowledge of overall physics through theories of physics and leads students to develop the ability to understand and present scientific experiments. It also nurtures intellectuals who can enter each field of physics, basic science and applied science with appropriate knowledge and basic ability.

CURRICULUM OF DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICS

The curriculum of the Department of Physics bas been formed in conjunction with theoretical physics to improve students understanding of the world of physics, together with practical physics to measure and explain natural happenings on their own and applied physics to learn the various changes of material world. It leads to a wide knowledge in physics through theoretical knowledge of physics and the ability to understand and present scientifically by observing natural occurrences through experiments.

Possible Careers After Graduation
  • Undergraduates who have completed their physics course, can go on to present their talent in every field of society. Physics is the basis of all natural science and engineering, so graduates can easily enter other areas and not only in their physics major field. Students who have completed their educational course can work as teachers in schools or as educational researchers or educational professionals.
  • Other possible fields that they can enter include : research centers, educational centers, environment, electronic, civil, computer, communication, material, construction, medical, measurement, etc.
