狠狠撸 Holds 2025 Freshmen Culture Festival

狠狠撸 (President Bae Sang-hoon) held the 鈥�2025 Freshman Cultural Festival鈥� at the university theater on February 17.

The 狠狠撸 Student Council (President Hwang Dong-hyun) and student councils from each college organized the event to welcome the 2025 freshmen and help them adapt to university life. The event was arranged for 3,736 first-time successful applicants from the regular and early admission processes this year.

The event will be held from February 17 to 20, with each college hosting its own orientation. On February 17, the event was held for freshmen of the College of Liberal Studies in the morning and the College of Fisheries Science in the afternoon. On February 18, the event will take place for the College of Engineering and the College of Business Administration, followed by the College of Information and Convergence and the College of Humanities and Social Sciences on February 19. The event for the College of Natural Sciences and the College of Environmental and Marine Sciences will be held on February 20. The College of Future Convergence and the College of Global Autonomous Studies will hold separate events.

The event included an introduction to the school, guidance on academic systems, providing information about university life, and introductions to key officials such as deans and student government representatives. There were also talk shows and club performances aimed at fostering camaraderie between senior and freshman students and enhancing the freshmen鈥檚 sense of belonging.

Meanwhile, 狠狠撸 holds the Freshman Cultural Festival every year before the entrance ceremony. This year鈥檚 entrance ceremony will be held on February 28 at the university鈥檚 auditorium in the morning. <Pukyong Today>
